There's a continuity error when Kelly hits his first HR.
When Kelly hits his first HR the Athletics are in the field. When Kelly crosses home plate the catcher is wearing a Yankees' uniform and Buttermaker is running out to the field with a case of beer. That scene of Kelly crossing home plate is actually from the alternate ending where the Bears Win the championship game.

shareYeah, that was from the alternate ending where the Bears "beat" the Yankees in the championship game. In the alternate ending, Kelly hits the game winning HR. I guess they never filmed a reaction shot for the Athletics game HR, so the edited the Yankee HR reaction that was never used.
I noticed it about a year ago watching it on an HD tv with a DVR so I rewound and paused it.
I'm guessing editing back in those days before VCR's and and DVD and pause buttons and DVR's wasn't that strict.
I've noticed noticed dozens of continuity errors in old Seinfeld. Usually it's with Jerry, I'm guessing his acting wasn't that great in the beginning and they required several re-takes. One moment Jerry is asking George a question standing up with a cup in his hand then it switches to George and then back to Jerry only he's sitting down with no cup in his hand.
