Does Amanda ever bat or do they allow a DH in little league?

I've never heard of the DH used in little league

There is no DH in little league. Also there is at least one scene that shows her batting.

They do show her bat in the championship game. Turner yells to his pitcher that she has a sore arm and she weakly grounds out before the Bears start their rally. There is no DH in Little League. Usually the pitcher is the best player on the team and also great at bat so you wouldn't want them not to hit.

Apparently she wasn't a very good hitter because at the end of the movie she asks Buttermaker to teach her how to hit for the next season.
