Drinking Beer

I saw this at the theatre as a kid and specifically remember not liking the scenes of beer drinking. I couldn't figure out back then why those kids did it since beer tasted so awful. How times have changed. As an adult, I no longer think beer is a bitter tasting beverage. I find it enjoyable now.

It wasn't about the taste, it was more of a baseball thing. Taking a few sips and then pouring it over one of your teammates head.

And we could purchase beer at 18 back then! On my 18th birthday in 1976 I bought beer because I could. Miller ponies. No ID even needed. I never got carded until I was in my 30s. Now I'm obviously old enough to buy beer and it's such a joke to have to show an ID at my age.
