Watched again last night for first time in 35 years

Wow. this movie captures the spirit of that decade exactly. I grew up in southern California and played little league ball. My dad was my coach and was a cross between Turner and Buttermaker. He always had a cooler of Budweiser in the dugout and was prone to screaming at us poor 10 year olds for not properly turning over a double play. He also slammed a few of us up against the fencing in the dugout if we werent listening. I think our record for the 2 seasons he coached me we won 6 games and lost 18. Different time then for sure. Nobody would bat an eye at his behavior then in the late 70s. Now he would be arrested on the spot....LOL
