Does anybody know? I know that it starts with an R, but that's the extent of my knowledge.

That is the extent of any ones knowledge. Even the creator if I remember correctly. It definitely was never spoken on the show.

I agree. In the last season episode "Murder On Ice" Quincy's new wife, Emily, calls him Bob when a knock on their room's door interrupts them. You have to listen carefully, but she definitely says "Bob. There's someone at the door"
Guess the mystery is solved at long last. 😀

I agree with rycki1138. I do remember Quincy giving someone a business card and it said R. Quincy.
