Dody Goodman (Martha Shumway, Mary's mom) has died at age 93. She had been in bad health and living in an actor's retirement home since October.

I was very saddened by Ms. Goodman's passing, even though 93 is an age we could all aspire to.
In addition to her role on "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman," Dody had memorable roles in "Grease," "Silent Movie" and "Splash."
She goes back to the golden age of television talk shows, with appearances on Jack Parr, Steve Allen and the old Johnny Carson shows. Sadly, now she joins them on the couch in the sky.
