JAY-MEE Sommers, not HY-MEE

her name was Jamie, not Jaime. Jamie is English/Scottish in origin and is pronounced JAY-MEE. you've written it as Jaime. origin in Mexico and is Spanish for James and is pronounced HY-MEE.

On one of the DVDs special features the creator of the show, Ken Johnson, said he named the character after a friend of his from school. She also spelled her name Jaime and it was pronounced "Jay-mee".

I don't know what they have to say. It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I'm against it.

There is no controversy about how the bionic woman's name is pronounced. It's spoken hundreds of times on episodes of the show.

I thought exactly the same when I saw this thread! It's never in doubt!

In one episode we see a letter written by her and it was spelled Jamie! Whoops!

Yes, she'd been like that ever since the parachute accident. All those bionics but they couldn't fix a little bit of brain damage.
