Kinda get the feeling that they wanted to get Ray Milland for this movie

If you mean Houseman, no, he'd just won the Oscar for Paper Chase, so he was the 'in demand' actor.

Milland had the Two-headed movie, but that was sensationalized camp. All that has ever spoken in Hollywood is that statue.

Yes, agree with the poster above. By 1975 Houseman was arguably more in demand for high profile support roles than Milland.🐭
