Special Edition DVD?

Anyone know if there's a special edition DVD planned? The non-anamorphic UK region 2 DVD is no longer available to buy which makes me think it's either gone for good(!) or they're planning to re-release it as a special edition with a cleaned up anamorphic picture and plenty of extras. This is an old favourite of mine so one can live in hope.

Check out the play.com web site. This is listed for a re-release as a reigon 2 disc in early June. Looking through other listings it looks like a lot of the Eastwood old stock is to be re-released.
