R.I.P. Vonetta McGee
The actress who played Jemima Brown has died at age 65 after battling health problems for years.
Ms. McGee's acting talent was even more distinctive than her name in this film (and in real life), and it's too bad she didn't break out of small roles in films like this and the blaxploitation genre to become a bigger star. She had all the talent and charm, and we could use more with both qualities these days.
