The impersonation reminds me of Humphry Bogart's bookstore scene in Big Sleep. I wonder if Eastwood had that in mind (think Eastwood is a Bogart fan, and Bogart does have a lisp, especially pronounce one in the bookstore scene).

I have never seen the Big Sleep.Speaking of Bogart I remember seeing on a TV show about Bogart on his first audition the guy told him forget it kid you will never get an acting job with that lisp.He was wrong.Hey... this reminds me of another funny story. I cant remember what movie Eastwood and Reynolds were auditioning for in the begining of their careers but the guy turns to Reynolds and says you cant act and then says to Eastwood your adams apple is too big.LOL So,Eastwood and Reynolds walk outside and Eastwood turns to Reynolds and says something to the effect now what? Reynolds says well I`m going to go take some acting lessons but I dont know what you are going to do about your adams apple.LOL

I was quite surprised to hear him talk that way even as a parody. Just didn't think he would be willing to sound like that even for a part. It was funny and almost refreshing.
