Please does anyone know what breed of dog that was in this movie ? I was just curious to know of course . It seems like these dogs are used alot in movies ( another mere movie example - " Chupacabra: Dark Seas " from 2005 ) was just wondering why this particular breed ?

GROSS ! Well I'm certainly relieved that scene wasn't in the movie . Did the book say why he did that horrific thing ? I never read the book . Thanks bartf-4 for that interesting bit of trivia from the book .

I don't remember, it's been so long but I think it was either a poodle or a small terrier.
