Overrated and boring
Nothing happens, I felt no sympathy for Sonny, Sal hardly had any lines, I was rooting for the police the entire time, I was glad that it ended the way it did. That's all.

shareNothing happens because nothing was going to happen. The city sleeps, and everyone breathes a sigh of relief around the backside of the beast, as long as you let sleeping dogs lie and Shut Your Mouth! The protagonists are stuck in a limbo by their circumstance and that is the whole point.

Watch Marvel movies instead.
shareYour opinion. I glad I saw it.
shareI agree. This film bored me as well.
shareSPOILERS
This movie is not boring, and a hell of a lot happens. Things are continuously happening. As for the characters--I didn't like Sonny or Sal. They took innocent people hostage, threatened their lives, and probably psychologically traumatized them for life. I can imagine how terrified and miserable I would be if my wife was trapped in that bank with them. I was glad when the psycho halfwit Sal was suddenly taken out by the cop, and disappointed when Sonny didn't go down the same way. But it's not necessary to like the characters in a movie in order to like the movie. Their only obligation is to provide an interesting story, which the characters in this movie did.
