At the San Diego Comic Con in an interview with G4tv Michael Unslan (producer of all the Batman movies) announced that all the contracts have been signed and a new Doc Savage movie is in the works. I had to leave the room so I did not here if there was a Director or lead Actor found yet.
Just hope they learned a lesson from the first movie and do it more like the first Indiana Jones movie.

As a huge Doc Savage fan , I hope they do a better job the they did last time.
Granted, you should not take a Doc Savage story too serously, but there is a difference between a light touch and camp, and we got the latter with the previous film.
But Uslan seems to know what he is doing. After all, he was one of the producers of a little film you might have heard of called "The Dark Knight'....

Well Doc Savage is the basis for all future heroes such as batman,superman et al by showing what is achieveable by humanity at it's hypothetical peak.So with doc savage we have the physical perfection of an athlete trained from birth, combined with the mental will and bodily control of a indian mystic and the analytical genius of a Sherlock Holmes.
There is nothing in the man of bronze that is not theoretically possible for a person to achieve one need only look at any display of parkour (free running), meditation, or memory feats eg Derren Brown etc.
