We need a DVD
Criminally Insane is awesome. How can we (Fans, If There is any) have Anchor bay or some other random company to put this on DVD?

I'd LOVE to be the one to release a special edition DVD of Criminally Insane. Anyone know who owns the rights? Or how to contact the director?
I've been a fan of this movie since about 1991, when I got a copy through the video trading network thanks to a photocopied horror/sleaze fanzine I was doing at the time. If I recall correctly, Nick the Yak, of New Jersey's "Stink" fanzine, was the one who turned me on to this flick. I've since upgraded to an original prerecord VHS, which I've transferred to DVD -R (for personal use only...).
I wound up doing a long critical article on Criminally Insane and it's sequels, Crazy Fat Ethel II and Death Nurse, way back when, and I've since tracked down a copy of Death Nurse 2 and some other flicks from the director, Satan's Black Wedding and Gunblast. I would love to see more - according to the imdb listing, he has quite a few other films out there!
Anyway, to re-state, I would love to put this classic on DVD, as an official release, with as many extras as we can scrape up!
If anyone can help out, contact me at babelnyc_AT_yahoo.com... (Replace _AT_ with @ - my lame attempt at avoiding any more spam...)
I've got great news. EI Cinema/Retro Shockoroma is releasing this with it's sequel and two more films by the same director on September 27, 2005
shareI've been following Criminally Insane's release date on Fangoria's Chopping List...after the date got moved back a few times it's gone...do you know of any other places that still shows it's listed?

How does Criminally Insane, Criminally Insane 2, and Satans Black Wedding look on DVD? Is Satans Black Wedding any good? I ordered my copy of the Criminally Insane collection from amazon, but haven't received it yet. How would you rate this collection? I would like to see Death Nurse, Death Nurse 2, and Cemetery Sisters come out on DVD in a collection set. Priscilla Alden plays a crazy nurse and continues to kill people on Death Nurse and Death Nurse 2. Have you ever seen Death Nurse, Death Nurse 2, and Cemetery Sisters?

shareYou can buy copies of Death Nurse, Death Nurse 2, and Cemetery Sisters from
http://moviesunlimited.com/musite/default.asp?
They are all available to buy on VHS, not DVD.
Y'all are mentioned "Death Nurse 1 & 2" and it got my confused. Are "Criminally Insane" (aka "Crazy, Fat Ethel"), "Criminally Insane 2" (aka "Crazy, Fat Ethel 2"), "Death Nurse", and "Death Nurse 2" all in the same series?
shareCriminally Insane and Criminally Insane 2 are a seperate series from the Death Nurse films, but they all star Priscilla Alden, and are directed by Nick Millard.
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here.share
"Satan's Black Wedding" is the best film of the bunch, in my opinion. "Criminally Insane" is entertaining the first time you watch it, but it's not the kind of movie that holds up to multiple viewings. "SBW", on the other hand, is a genuinely creepy little film despite its shortcomings.
