Black sitcoms worthy of reboot

With the success of Fuller House and Girl Meets World, there has to be at least one black sitcom that's capable of a reboot. Here are some suggestions, and reasons why some would be next to impossible. Any thoughts?

Cosby Show - Highly unlikely due to scandal
Family Matters - Highly unlikely due to Jaleel White swearing never to play Urkel again.
Parent Hood - somewhat unlikely because not popular enough
Hangin with Mr. Cooper - somewhat unlikely, not popular enough
Martin - highly unlikely with incident between Martin and Tisha, plus with Tommy dead, you can't have the show return without all five players
227-nhighly unlikely, not popular enough and Regina King has many other projects
A Different World - Somewhat likely but might catch flack since Bill Cosby created it, although the cast still get along and made an appearance on Oprah recently, plus Debbie Allen still has a lot of pull to get it back, I'm just worried that people will try to connect it with Cosby to give it a chance
Good Times - Somewhat unlikely. None of the actors have been in the business for years. Ether Rolle is dead and James(the character) is dead.
Diff'rent Strokes - highly unlikely, sadly most of the cast is dead
Fresh Prince - Somewhat likely , even though the show was popular, Uncle Phil brought an element to the show and James Avery is dead. Could be possible if Will is willing to humble himself and return to sitcom acting.
Moesha - Highly unlikely, not as popular and Brandy couldn't stand Moesha
Girlfriends - Somewhat likely - there is a demand for a movie , but Tracee Ellis is busy on Blackish, plus there might still be bitterness from the abrupt cancellation
Steve Harvey Show - Merlin Santana is dead and Steve Harvey has moved on to a successful career so I can't see him doing a sitcom again\
Jaime Foxx Show - Same reason for Steve Harvey with the steve harvey show.
Sister Sister - most likely - the twins are still on the rader with cooking show and acting plus tim reid and Jackee are still in the business

I don't really see any reason to reboot a sitcom. Movies I can understand. I know it's been done a few times like with the Odd couple. The way I see it, it's a different generation so it's time for different ideas that would work in this time period

I agree, but with the success of Fuller House and Girl Meets World, sitcom reboots is what's in demand due to constant reruns and dvd sales. I was just addressing this because I think its unfair how the black shows don't get the same treatment even though they were just as successful.

Oh ok sorry. I don't know anything about fuller house or girl meets world. In what way do you think black shows don't get the same treatment as other shows? You mean because they weren't rebooted?

It's more like politics.
Shows like Full House and the Brady Bunch have always been favored to the point where we hear about them constantly for decades. Reruns, DVDs, specials, reunions, movies and merchandise were all used to market these successful 'beloved' shows. But other shows like Family Matters and Cosby take lots of campaigning to get recognized at the same level. Fresh Prince does come close and it's still popular, but still no other black sitcom has generated a huge following after their original runs partially due to no reruns, long overdue DVD releases or no demand for reboots.
I think Cosby Show was 'beloved' for a long time, and well....it's not so beloved anymore since it's no longer on television.

BTW, I have to admit that Fuller House IS actually good. It's on Netflix

It could happen, but I don't see the point. It's really a 70s sitcom and the premise would likely have to be changed, as dry cleaning services don't tend to be chains these days as much as in the 70s-80s, and they likely couldn't get away not with being as edgy as they were back then too. Also I feel like Sherman Hensley and Isabel Sanford owned those roles.

It would be like rebooting All in the Family. Why bother?

A different world would be the most likely---and it would be much less 'controversial to have a white 'minority' learn about attending a black college now. Discover black studies and think about what that means. They axed the white student in the original bc they weren't sure how she would be perceived by audiences in the 1980's

The premise of the jeffersons would not work since the idea was to celebrate newly rich blacks. There are discrepancies yes but it's not implausible today that there are Blacks who are wealthy. This would not be 'edgy' now.

Plus a large part of TJ sucess was the chemistry of the main characters.
