watching tonight

As I generally do on August 18th. Always brings up fun memories. I remember seeing it when I was probably 8 or so, my parents had it on video and I was curious. And when I was 12 or so I remember riding my bike with it to a friend's house nearby because he hadn't seen it yet.

For years my dad had me convinced that it had really happened, when he was in college. He also said that Sally didn't get away in real life, that they found her buried in the burlap bag with her wrists still tied. I believed that for a while haha.

I want one of the movies to have someone climb a tree and Leatherface just brings the whole tree down haha. I don't recall that happening in any, but it's also been forever since I've seen most of the sequels.
