What kind of cars?
Can anybody tell me what the two cars are: (1) Peter Miller's car...is it a Mercedes? and (2) the car that the men who kidnap Peter Miller are driving....what a cool-looking car! Just curious. Thanks!
I haven't seen it in awhile but Voight's car is a Chrsyler LeBaron...sorry, couldn't resist the Seinfeld reference.
I believe he is indeed driving a Mercedes and the guys who "kidnap" him are driving a French Citroen. The latter has a really cool suspension that makes it "float" along.
Of course, after taking out the hit man, Voight takes that Jaguar XKE. What a sound that thing had!
Thank you, BCarl; I think you are right about the Citroen, as just yesterday I was googling foreign cars and saw a Citroen and that photo was the one that looked (to me) like the one in the movie. Very futuristic-looking! I don't know beans about cars but for whatever reason that one mesmeried me!
