Bottoms Up
There is a deftly done, beautiful transition scene in this movie when Sir Roger says "Bottoms Up" to Octopussy whilst raising his wine glass before the view switches instantly to a scantily clad woman's bottom rising in the air in some strip club.
For me it instantly brought to mind that moment in Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey when the monkey throws a bone up into the air and it instantly cuts to a similarly shaped space ship.
Are these two scenes widely considered the greatest examples of instant transition scenes in cinematic history or are there any others?
