I have one issue with this movie.

I live in Southern California - because this is Earthquake Country basements are extremely rare here. To have one you'd have to make sure you're far from any fault lines and build on solid bedrock. Basically, it has to be a multimillion dollar home. Not some random house in the suburbs.

We use attics and garages for storage, not basements. MAJOR goof there. I wonder if Mr. Cohen had ever lived in SoCal.

On the DVD commentary Cohen said that it was his house used for the film. I don't know about the basement. PS Am I OK to ride the subway in LA? You got me skeered!
