I am surprised that this Oscar winning film has yet to be released on DVD. It is really unfortunate since it includes an amazing performance by Art Carney. Hopefully it is released soon.

I've been wondering the same thing myself. This was such a special film. I'm also surprised that there are not many requests here on the message boards for this one. It is one of my top ten movies of all time. I thought that since Art Carney passed away this past year; that maybe, the studios would release it for Christmas, but it didn't happen. Fans, please respond to this? Thanks.

It's really surprising that FOX hasn't released this yet considering Art Carney won an Oscar for it. One of my favorites.

The directors commentary is a little disappointing. Paul Mazursky comes off as repetitive and self absorbed.
