Minor thing regarding Roth at the end

Just saw this movie in its entirety for the first time, and just wanted to make a couple comments on 1 angle at the end.

I find it hard to believe that Israel would reject Roth coming to live there. Unless he was a known killer/major known/convicted criminal, Israel wouldn't reject someone otherwise, especially with an "investor" status as big as Roth's. (I know it's a movie and they had to make an angle that made him in a vulnerable position, but just wanted to mention).

The man tasked with killing Roth at the airport was killed immediately. He had to have known it would have been a suicide mission one way or the other. Either life in prison or get killed on the spot. Why would someone agree to do this on behalf of Michael?

I guess Israel knew about Ruth’s criminal activities.

Rocco just took one for the team.

No one believed Roth was an investor. He was a known high-level Mafia associate.
