Edited version on Speedvision's The Lost Drive-In?
I never even knew Speedvision showed movies until I saw 'Freebie and the Bean' listed under Alan Arkin's TV Now monthly schedule (I'm trying to see as many movies of his as possible--I think he's an underrated genius). Never seeing the movie before, I decided to check it out this past Friday. Much to my surprise, not only was it letterboxed, but the print looked really great.
However, all the obscenities were edited out. I was just wondering if any major scenes were edited out as well. I saw a documentary awhile back called "The Celluloid Closet" and they showed the scene where the transvestite is shot and it went on for much longer than SV showed it. The bleeped out obscenities really don't bother me, but edited scenes really do. If anyone happened to see the SV version and knows the movie pretty well, could you let me know? Thank you.

Fun and Failure both start out the same way.
