Movie was a lot slower that I thought it was gonna be...I liked the acting and the development of genes character was great....just slow

I agree.. Don't get why it's been rated so highly on here... It wasn't bad.. Like you said, the acting was good and the twist was alright (although not amazing) but what should have been the main storyline felt a bit sidelined. I felt there was too much moody Gene Hackman.. I know we needed to find out who he was and what made him tick, but surely the storyline is just as important as the character and actor.
sharePeople have different tastes and there isn't really anything to "get" about it. The film is slow and the plot does require some suspension of disbelief. The film is a masterpiece of camera work, acting, music and sound design though. All those elements are flawless.
