freeze frames?


frames freeze sometimes in the movie,is it a stylistic choice or just a problem with the print code red found?

I suspect that the freeze frames are Assonitis's attempts to appropriate Francois Truffaut's similar technique. He does it in "Tentacles" as well.

Oh, wow. The freezes were intentional?? Would not have guessed, and glad to hear that it's not because of a defective disc.

I love the freeze frame effect. I think it made the scenes feel a lot more dramatic.
