Well, I LOVED it!!!!

Finally, I got the Code Red DVD, and it was well worth the wait----gorgeous transfer, and finally, UNCUT!! Gosh, I wish they could do that for "Abby", now, because the DVD print of that is just awful. Anyways, great little creepy chiller this one is, and Juliet Mills was perfection as Jessica! Anyone else wonder if it was product placement for FAO Schwartz, or they just merely grabbed that bag for the scene with her buying the doll??? And the scene in the kids' room, and also her weird little "traveling eye" scene with her right eye going kittywampus, were still eerie and effecive.

Glad you liked it as well! I love these films from the 70's---they seem to have stepped "out on the ledge" when they made them, and I love the creativity, and the uniquiness of them. This one has always been one of my favorites, especially because of Juliet Mills---I had a crush on her ever since the "Nanny and the Professor" days. The fact that she gave this role her all really elevated this film to something more than just a "horror trash" picture I feel.

You're not the only one who loved it. In some ways, it was even better than The Exorcist (the movie it supposedly ripped off). I loved every minute of it. It was extremely entertaining.

I concur. As great as The Exorcist is, there are aspects of Beyond the Door that are superior. The same applies to Fulci's Zombie in relation to Romero's Dawn of the Dead.
