Definately Made-For-TV

This was a movie that I saw as a kid. And for years, I didn't have a clue what it was called.

I finally got a chance to see it last week, at least 30 years after seeing it as a kid.

It still was creepy at times. But it definately had that ABC Million Dollar Movie feel.

All these years later, I found myself distracted that it was "Dr Zira" (a.k.a. Kim Hunter) as Ronald's mom.

I love 70's made-for-TV horror films. They tend to be a lot of fun. Moreover, they have a real serious and sincere quality to them that's quite refreshing and endearing. Besides "Bad Ronald," other 70's made-for-TV favorites include "Duel," "The Night Stalker," "The Norliss Tapes," "The Stranger Within," "Moon of the Wolf," "Crowhaven Farm," "The Maneaters Are Loose," and "The Initiation of Sarah." "Bad Ronald" is a real creepy one thanks to Scott Jacoby's excellent portrayal of one murderously messed-up misfit teenage psycho nerd.
