Ronald and Babs, alternative storyline?
I saw this years ago on TV, but my memories of it were really wrong. For some reason I thought that the youngest girl (who I recalled as Althea, not Babs) had discovered Ronald, become intrigued by his fantasy world and helped to hide him. I rather wish the film had played out this way, even if it may not have been particularly realistic. It was kind of disappointing when rewatching the film to see that Babs was just another pretty but forgettable girl.
