Does Anybody Remember That Karen Black...
...was the original Mother Firefly in The House Of 1,000 Corpses? As good as she was, I did prefer Leslie Easterbrook's portrayal of Mother Firefly in The Devil's Rejects.
shareI love Karen Black: she's very talented and has a great singing voice as well. I like Ms. Black much better and was disapointed she didn't return in the Mother Firefly role (although I would not have liked to see her get hideously stabbed to death). I liked House of a 1,000 Corpses better than The Devil's Reject's: it was a true horror film, while the semi-sequel was more of a gangster road movie with horror elements.
