Episode where CM lifts a big Detroit car
Anyone recall this one?
shareIt's the episode "Debbie", where this blond girl named (obviously) Debbie wants to kick it with two guys that her mother doesn't like...first she rides on a motorcycle with one of them and the guy wants to ride in a blasting zone...Billy becomes Marvel and stops them, Mentor and Billy take Debbie home and Debbie is chewed out by her mom...she then goes with the guy and his buddy, they steal a car and joyride in it, and steal beer from a convenience store...the car stalls in the middle of the road and a big rig is headed for it...Marvel gets them out of the car and picks the car up and off the road...to me, it would have been easier and quicker if he had just pushed it off the road, but then we wouldn't have had the dramatic effect, would we?
shareLol, that's true; thanks for the info! It was the only time CM did anything impressive. Ah, memories.
shareI'm going to check YouTube for the episode now.

"Debbie" was also the episode in which John Davey made his first appearance as Captain Marvel.
That's correct. Until the advent of the Web, I always thought "Double Trouble" was the first episode with Davey...it was the first one shown by the TV network where I lived in Alabama at the time...also, that network showed the Davey episodes first in that season before the Bostwick ones...again, thanks to the web (where you can learn all sorts of useless information), I learned that Bostwick actually began that season before being fired in the Filmation fiasco...glad to to know he sued and won.
