Filming Locations

I have always been very intrigued to know where some of the filming locations have been for this show. If I had to guess they were obviously in L.A. Riverside, Orange, San Bernardino, and possibly in Ventura County. I don't know for sure, but I would have to guess with the minimal information on the IMDB website.

One of the episodes that I am very enamored with is the "Brain" episode. Those beaches were amazing. Does anyone have an information about where they were located? I wanted to say the L.A. area, but I am not sure. They could have been possibly in the Central Coast, San Diego, or Northern California beach areas. Those beaches were very nice with some fantastic views for people that lived in the houses on the cliff. Even a few times, it seemed that there was a California Mission in the background. But that is a pure guess. I would like to some beaches like that if I ever get the chance.
Also, where is the scene at the end. The character the "Brain' gets challenged to climb the enormous ore conveyor belt machine tower. A few times in the background you can see a fairly big suspension bridge on film. Where is this location? I almost want to say Northern California, but I am not sure. I don't think they had a huge budget for Shazam. Take care.

I actually got my question answered from Don Glut. Glut worked on the Shazam show. He worked on the particular episode "The Brain".

Don Glut wrote, "As I recall it was shot at Leo Carillo beach and the machine was in the same area. I visited that set and took quite a few color slides. That was my first TV script"

It was cool to get a response from him. The response came so quickly.

I'm also mesmerized by the filming locations. I love the California scenery and I've often wondered where they filmed and want to visit the places--if they are still there. Afterall, it has been 40 years.
I just watched the Finders Keepers episode and it was filmed somewhere along the California coast. It had a rocky coastline. They were on a huge cliff overlooking the ocean--and it wasn't Point Dume beach in Malibu. It almost had a Grecian look to it.
I also think they filmed at locations outside of Los Angeles. I've lived in LA for over 20 years and I don't recognize a lot of the places so I think the OP may be right that they filmed in other places like Riverside, Orange, San Bernardino, and possibly in Ventura County.
I think I saw the Vasquez rocks in one episode.
They usually are in rural areas with lots of deserted roads or in the country.
