I mean it was kind of a common glamorous look in the era -- slender, small breasted and blonde.

Lindsay Wagner was another one, and Jan Smithers was a brunette version. Probably a lot of it goes back to Twiggy and maybe the pipeline of fashion models turning to acting, since fashion models are generally slender and small breasted.
