Wonder - Did Matthew McConaughey lift his "All right, all right, all right" from The Rockford Files?

There is a scene in The next to the last episode of Season Five of The Rockford Files where James Garner goes, "All right, all right, all right" and it is enunciated the same way as McConaughey does in Dazed.

On top of that, in an even earlier episode, Garner says it before this one but he may have only said "all right" twice.

I don't know, but Garner is much cooler. Dazed and Confused is so overrated, and I don't know why it's considered this cult classic. I didn't laugh 1 time.

Garner was from Oklahoma, McConaughey from Texas so you would expect their enunciation to be similar if they were saying the same words.

The odd thing to me is McConaughey has stated his inspiration came from Jim Morrison of the Doors and one of their concerts but if you listen to Morrison's speaking, the two sound nothing alike.

An even more bizarre thing is I just saw a movie where another character utters the same phrasing in the same way and this movie came way before Dazed and Confused (and for the life of me, I can't recall the title.....).

Probably.
