Wow! 45 years ago tonight, the first episode of RHODA premiered, becoming the #1 show of the week. The season would continue on with incredible ratings, and land in the top 10 for the season average. IIRC, Harper said the first episode was filmed the first week of August, and they continued filming each episode five weeks in advance throughout its run.
Here it is 45 years after, and Harper was buried just the other day. Sad.
