Watch Season Five?!

Is there ANYWHERE to watch season five?! Are there, like, bootleg VHS copies or ANTHING?! I'm going mad because I just watched seasons 1-4 and I need this last season!

Strangely, the DVD of Season 5 has been caught up in a web of 'legal rights' according to Shout Factory. Seems the studio has given the rights to Saeasons 1 - 4 to be released on DVD, but not Season 5 (for some unknown reason, though money must play a part)...angering many of the fans.

As far as I know, the series was never released in it's entirety on VHS tapes.

I learned that yesterday! Lucky Canadians! (It didn't seem that episodes were available to view on Comedy Gold's online website, boo hoo.)

Thanks, folks! I'm not crazy about the episodes without Joe anyway -- seems like we fans are kind of split that way -- but I still wanted to complete my viewing. Perhaps someday!

I can't understand why studios don't give a green-light on entire runs of a sitcom. The same thing happened with 'The Flying Nun'. They gave the green-light for a DVD release of the first two seasons (I believe it was Shout Factory once again), but never allowed them to release the third/final season. I think this happened with MTM Show as well. I guess they hold the final season as ransom for 'more money' from the production company?

Comedy Gold also airs season 1 uncut and remastered, except for the wedding episode.. for some reason.

Ah, you rock! Thanks so much!

Also, beginning today, I believe, MeTV is showing "Rhoda"! So I'll probably get to see season five there, too. I'm so happy!
