Rhoda's theme song - your favorite version (1-5)?

During the course of her five year run, "Rhoda" had five different versions of the same theme song- which most claim are from the 1908 tune "Yama Yama Man" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tLKszpf8Ec (wait till about 30 seconds in...you will recognize it).

Here are the five different versions, please share which one is your favorite. (Notice the color of the title text also varied in the five seasons)...

Season 1 (1974-75): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnZL-MFKcT8

Season 2 (1975-76): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZgKXt7si4g

Season 3 (1976-77): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq7V8UDuk-s

Season 4 (1977-78): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgC7mejjqlQ

Season 5 (1978): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVuA5ojodMY

My favorite is the jazzy version from S5, which I have recorded for my own personal ringtone for text messages!

Season 3. I love that bass line. All of them are great, thougjh. With the possible exception of season 2.

Never liked S2 with the little kids (?) singing...sounded too SESAME STREET for my tastes.

I like Season 4 best. A good arrangement of the song and beautiful scenes of New York City.

The beginning of Season 5, with its low synthesizer tones, is sort of dark and creepy. This theme's style seems like an interesting bridge between the musical styles of the late '70s and early '80s.

Season 3 has too many quick cuts and seems frantic.

The extended voiceover narration in Season 1 is funny the first few times you hear it, but I'm glad it didn't hang around for five years.

The theme in Season 2 might have been appropriate if Rhoda were an elementary school teacher or had some other job where she worked with kids.

It's a tie between season 3 and season 4. Like them all, though.

I think I like season 3 the best, but for the purpose of sticking in your head throughout the '70s, '80s, '90s, '00s, '10s and forever and ever after until you die, nothing beats season 2. That's the one that I remember the most fondly from my childhood years of watching "Rhoda". Similar to the Miss Chrysanthemum Pageant song from "Charlie's Angels", if anyone here recalls that. It will also be with me until I die.

I'm only on season 2 on ME TV,so I can only
say at this time Season 1. Prety quirky theme.

I like the kids one but I feel that for a character
like Rhoda,"child like happiness" isn;t exactly fitting. It's cute though.

Maybe if "Georgette" had gotten her own show, kids would work great,
