A look at Rhoda's bedroom

In season 3 of 'Rhoda', I believe we are given two looks into Rhoda's bedroom.

The first one was 'Man of the Year' which aired November, 1976. Dick Schaal (Harper's real life husband back then, a horrible actor IMO), was the guest star who was drunk and stayed in Rhoda's apartment one night. The next morning she goes into the bedroom to wake him up and throw him out.

Her bedroom - like her living room - is filled with geometric patterns (mostly browns and tans), cluttered and rather masculine and depressing (keep in mind, this is the one which she lived alone - not with Joe). There's a hint of sunshine coming through the window behind the headboard (her drapes are geometric and brown as well), which makes it an odd location the way Rhoda enters the room (the window appears to be on the opposite side of the one in the living room - which doesn't happen in a NY apt building). Overall, the episode was not too funny - but Harper saves the day with her comedic timing.

The next glimpse we catch is the one which takes place on New Year's Eve. It has not re-aired yet, but I remember it from the past - she and Joe sneak off to her bedroom to talk in private and sit on her bed when the clock hits midnight. I believe this is the last we see of Joe. Not sure what the bedroom looked like then - hopefully they made some changes.

I SHOULD ALSO POINT OUT that in this episode 'MAN OF THE YEAR', there is a 'jazzy / disco' theme used in the opening credits; I believe this is the one which fans have long remembered as showing up a couple of times in the season's run, but never replacing the original S3 music.
