Was Rhoda's brother ever shown on the show?

Watching the 2nd season of "The Mary Tyler Moore" show and Rhoda's mom is visiting. Rhoda tells her that plenty of people fight w/their parents. The mother says like who, to which Rhoda replies "Brenda, Arnold" and the mother says "you leave your brother and sister out of this".

I LOVE "Rhoda" although I haven't watched a lot of episodes but I NEVER knew she had a brother. I thought it was just her and Brenda. Was Rhoda's brother "Arnold" ever shown on the show?

Rhoda's brother "Arnold" didn't even exist on the show. Never mentioned, much less shown.

Her older sister Debbie was never mentioned after the MTM show either, nor ever shown on 'Rhoda'. On the MTM show, there was an episode in which Rhoda went home to NYC for Debbie's wedding.
