Why does Rhoda's assistant have the same last name as her? Has this ever been addressed? When I first saw the door to Rhoda's office and it read "R. Morgenstein and M. Morgenstein" I assumed the M. Morgenstein was for Rhoda's dad...."Martin" and wondered why it was there but on the episode I'm currently watching "Myrna's Story" I'm guessing it's for "Myrna".

No problem. I always wondered why they used the similar last names too, and just figured it was meant to be humorous. Definitely, both names are commonplace enough in New York.
