40 years ago Rhoda got married!
40 years ago (October 28), Rhoda Morgenstern finally got married at the age of 32 (she'd turn 33 in December). She became Mrs. Joe Girard, for a few years at least.
The episode aired on a Monday night at 9:30, and scored record ratings as the 'most watched television show' for that season, and many TV seasons to come. It was second in viewers only to "I Love Lucy"'s episode in which Lucy gave birth to 'little Ricky'.
