M&Ms weren't invented until 1941.

M&Ms were invented for soldiers during WWII because the chocolate didn't leave a mess on their hands. Poor Charles was denied M&Ms because he was born before its creation.

Historically accurate, but the lie is that they do melt in your hands. Still, my favorite candy. In Charles's day if you wanted something to chew on you scraped off some tree sap.
