So it takes a man's word to make it all believable

while she told it years ago and Internet wasn't there to stand by her side. And how many who don't happen to be actresses have been through this, the next level to the horror that is to be abused - nobody buys it until the raper comes and admits it. It's like her horror doesn't end when the act itself ends, there's more.

I always considered Brando a mainstream idiot but not to this level. Bertolucci better pay for his "artwork" and have his awards retrieved. Both of them.

Oh please. She wasn't raped or abused. Art isn't always safe and fun. Grow up you baby

Oh no, she got butter in the butt!

This is completely fake point. Here's why:

1. The nature of the "butter" scene in the movie HAS been known for many years. This is not a case in which Maria Schneider was disbelieved.

2. The Bernardo Bertolucci interview that everyone is referencing is from 2013. WHY WEREN'T YOU MAD ABOUT THIS IN 2013 (or earlier)? Because you didn't know about it, yet. Which is fine.

My point: The person who initially read about this just HAPPENED to be reading a Bernardo Bertolucci interview rather than a Maria Schneider interview. We've never believed him over her.

" That scene wasn't in the original script. The truth is it was Marlon Brando who came up with the idea. They only told me about it before we had to film the scene and I was so angry. I should have called my agent or had my lawyer come to the set because you can't force someone to do something that isn't in the script, but at the time, I didn't know that . . . Marlon Brando said to me, "Maria, don't worry, it's just a movie", but during the scene, even though what Marlon was doing wasn't real, I was crying real tears . . . I felt humiliated and to be honest, I felt a little raped, both by Marlon and by Bernardo Bertolucci. After the scene, Marlon didn't console me or apologize. Thankfully, there was just one take." - Maria Schneider
