no sign of facial wound?
He is in a hospital bed after being shot in the face, and yet there is
no bandaging or signs of a wound, and his long hair and beard are just
as they were before the shooting. Seems like a continuity goof.

I thought the wound was surprisingly light every time it was shown.
In the opening scene i thought "small bullet hole!"
then when it happened it looked slightly smaller but i knew the range. Who'd have thought you could survive being shot in the face at 6 inches? even if it is a .22, which it didnt look like to me.
...and then 5 mins later - or a few months in the film - not the slightest scar! result!
but then the Doc describes all the symptoms he's still gonna feel - downer.
