Never saw the film, but I'm sure I saw the ads as a child. Do I remember correctly a part in the shower were we see someones feet with a snakes tail growing from it.

Wish I saw it. :)

That's not quite what happened.*spoiler*: There was a jock in the shower, though. He was bitten by a Black Mamba snake, from Africa.

Thank You.I was trying to see if this was the movie where the jock was killed in the shower by a black mamba and I see now that it is.

There is a scene where the town bully/football jock is taking a shower after getting busy with his girlfriend. Strother Martin slips into his apartment and chucks a deadly Black Mamba into the shower stall. The bully steps on it and, in slow motion, you see the snake bite him on the foot while he screams "Get off me, get off me, Oh God, get off me." The venom takes effect immediately and he goes into a coma and dies of respiratory paralysis and heart failure.

Actually found a DVD copy in a shop and ought it. Not bad for a single viewing.

And the bad guy wins!
