Well 20th February has been and gone and still the region 2 DVD is unavailable. I've searched for it on Kelkoo and it is still shown as either unavailable or pre-order. Has anyone else had any luck?

Yes...I ordered on EBAY the German Peckinpah box set and received it yesterday.
But I notice that PG&BTK is listed as 110 mins which means that the German authorities may have cut it. I have not had time to watch so I will let you know.
Otherwise Amazon list PG&BTK as being available in August!!

Thanks. The earliest release date i can find is 20/06 despite the uk edition of Uncut DVD stating February. Does your German version have German or English packaging, dubbed or subtitled?

It has German descriptions on the individual films and the titles of Cable and High Country are different...the front cover of the box set is in English ie.Sam Peckinpah collection.
There is an english language option so it's the same discs as the UK one so no probs there. I have not yet had time to see whether the 110mins that PG&BTK 2005 cut is listed as being,is with further cuts by the German censor or whether they got the mins wrong. The R1 cut is more like 116mins.
Buy it if you're a real fan...I notice that Amazon is now saying August for the UK release
By the way having had a cursory glance through the new edition of PG, I'm not sure I like it..aaprt from the Garrett wife scene. I think I'm going to end up with preferring the more rough, shambling and endearing 1988 cut.
