A Perfect Western Equals a Truly Great Film

Peckinpah has pieced together a true western. So full of character and plot it's fat.

Very sad, very beautiful and full with great charakters.
My fourth favorite western all time. Only better are The Wild Bunch, OUTITW and GBU.
I fell in love with Pat when I've seen it first... poor fellow. So lonely, so sad...

in my opinion (no offense) this aint even close to my '4th best western' ever.

i think pretty much any western Clint Eastwood has been in (especially the Sergio Leone ones) are much better than this film (7/10, but if i had to choose a 6 or 8 i would say 6) is and i think overall The Wild Bunch (7/10, it's slow pacing at times i think is what ultimately hurt it) is overrated to.

It's in my top ten as well.

The Eastwood westerns are over the top. Bullets ricochet off hats??? They're fun, but not as satisfying as PG&BTK.

Overall this is a terrible representation of Sams work
