Please go To this website http://turnerclassicmovies.com/ and click on suggest a movie and they play Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid on TCM. UNCUT AND IN WIDESCREEN !

We already knew this, but thanks anyway...Actually, TCM plays it every 4-5 weeks and it's always at 21.00, so there !

To everyone who likes this movie. This film has never been shown in its proper aspect ratio ie 2:35:1 on television except in 1989 when the director's cut was first discovered in the vaults.Not even TCM will show it in scope. Give me 300 quid and anyone can have my rare laserdisc version. Uncut.

I read that Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid will air on Turner Classics in the UK later this month for a tribute to Peckinpah. Turner Classics UK will also air Ride the Hight Country and the documentary Sam Peckinpah's West: Legacy of a Hollywood Renegade, the one that airs on the Western Channel hear in the states.

Its already played on TCM from time to time, so you don't need to worry. Thanks for the suggestion though, its good to know the film is well liked.

It is playing late night tonight, March 17, 2014 in widescreen on TCM. It is at 2:45 am Central Daylight Time.
