Both the 2005 Seydor Cut and the Turner Preview Version feature amount of Dylan on both counts.
I must say, I never know how to feel about his presence in the movie. No doubt his music adds to the experience greatly (though I prefer the instrumental KOHD during the Slip Pickens scene), but as an actor?
Today I find it hard to read the word "beans" without hearing Dylan's voice in my head.
"Beans. Spinach. Plums. Baked beans. Beans. AK Fine Qualiteee To-may-toes."
It's a bit distracting.
