Simply one of my top ten films
I appreciate that this film will not be for everyone. But for those with a passing interest in it, especially those who appreciate horror, will uinderstand its strange, unique approach to expressing the characters on screen.
Like an odd collision of a Disney childrens drama; 70s Euro-horror; and an atmosphere that veers from ultra-low budget grindhouse (Andy Milligan springs to mind, or MESSIAH OF EVIL) to truly beautiful photography. This all increases the uneasy atmosphere making it one of the creepiest films out there.
File next to CARNIVAL OF SOULS; VALERIE AND HER WEEKEND OF WONDERS; POSSESSION; MESSIAH OF EVIL, and you are already on your way to having a unique film colllection.
