'Mystic' and 'The Mark Of Death' song

Has anybody ever found out if the band "Mystic", that appeared on stage in the movie, was a real band? Or whether "The Mark of Death" was a real song that can be obtained anywhere? I read in a very old post in a forum called 'Very Good Plus' that a member had found the 7" single, and it was played by a band with a different name, but he wouldn't say what the real band's name was...

I am aware the movie music is De Wolf library music. but that has not helped

I'm keen to find out as I like the song, and that kind of doomy '70s rock. Apparently: "Horror Hospital contains a pop music number “Mark of Death”, composed by Jason DeHavilland and performed by the group Mystic (James IV Boris, Alan “The River” Hudson, Simon Lust)."

None of this information has been helpful in finding the answer...

a response to a video of that scene on youtube claims that 'mystic' were actually a late 60s British psychedelic group called Tangerine Peel and the band members who appeared in the film were Warwick Rose (Bass), James Gaynor (Guitar) and John Warwick (Drums). The song "Mark of Death" was written by Rose under the pseudonym of Jason De Havilland (Rose appears to be the person who posted this info on youtube). The cross-dressing frontman who appears in that scene, and gives Robin Askwith a bloody nose, wasn’t a real member of Tangerine Peel though, he was the film's co-writer Alan Watson, and seems to have been quite a wild character in real life. There are some great stories about him in Barry Miles' Burroughs biography 'El Hombre Invisible'
